Artist Bio:
Slade is a British rock band formed in Wolverhampton in 1966. The band consisted of lead vocalist Noddy Holder, guitarist Dave Hill, bassist Jim Lea, and drummer Don Powell. Slade gained popularity in the 1970s with their unique blend of glam rock and hard rock music, known for their catchy anthems, energetic live performances, and flamboyant image. They are best known for hits such as "Cum On Feel the Noize," "Mama Weer All Crazee Now," and "Merry Xmas Everybody."


Slade achieved commercial success in the UK, scoring 17 consecutive Top 20 hits and six number ones on the UK Singles Chart. They also found success internationally, particularly in Europe and Australia. Slade's music continues to be celebrated and their influence can be heard in the work of later bands such as Kiss, Oasis, and Quiet Riot.
