Slaughter is an American rock band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1988. The band was originally known as Vinnie Vincent Invasion before changing their name to Slaughter in 1989. The band's lineup consists of Mark Slaughter (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dana Strum (bass guitar), Jeff Blando (lead guitar), and Zoltan Chaney (drums).


Slaughter achieved commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their debut album "Stick It to Ya" released in 1990. The album featured hit singles such as "Up All Night" and "Fly to the Angels" and was certified double platinum in the United States. The band continued to release several albums throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, maintaining a loyal fan base and touring regularly. Slaughter's music is characterized by their melodic hard rock sound and energetic live performances.
