Slaughter is an American rock band formed in Las Vegas in 1988. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Mark Slaughter, guitarist Tim Kelly, bassist Dana Strum, and drummer Blas Elias. They gained popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their melodic hard rock sound, which featured catchy hooks and powerful vocals. Slaughter achieved commercial success with their debut album "Stick It to Ya," released in 1990, which went double platinum in the United States.
Tragically, guitarist Tim Kelly passed away in a car accident in 1998. Despite this loss, Slaughter continued to perform and release new music, with Mark Slaughter as the driving force behind the band. Their most recent studio album, "Unfinished Business," was released in 2019. Over the years, Slaughter has maintained a dedicated fan base and continues to tour and perform live shows, showcasing their energetic and engaging performances.
