Sneaker Pimps are a British electronic music band formed in Hartlepool in 1994. The band's lineup has changed over the years, with Chris Corner being the only consistent member. They are known for their unique blend of trip-hop, electronic, and alternative rock music. Sneaker Pimps gained popularity in the late 1990s with their debut album "Becoming X," which featured hit singles like "6 Underground" and "Spin Spin Sugar."
The band released a few more albums in the early 2000s before going on hiatus. In 2016, Sneaker Pimps reunited for a series of live performances. Despite their sporadic activity, the band has maintained a dedicated fan base and continues to be remembered for their distinctive sound and impactful contributions to the electronic music scene.
