Snow Patrol is a Northern Irish-Scottish rock band formed in 1994 in Dundee, Scotland. The band consists of Gary Lightbody (lead vocals, guitar), Nathan Connolly (guitar, backing vocals), Paul Wilson (bass guitar, backing vocals), Jonny Quinn (drums), and Johnny McDaid (piano, guitar, backing vocals). Snow Patrol gained mainstream success with their third studio album, "Final Straw," released in 2003, which included hit singles like "Run" and "Chocolate."
Their most successful single to date is "Chasing Cars," released in 2006 as part of their fourth studio album, "Eyes Open." The song became a massive hit worldwide and has since been featured in various TV shows, films, and commercials. Snow Patrol has released a total of seven studio albums, with their latest being "Wildness" in 2018. They are known for their emotionally charged lyrics and anthemic sound, garnering a dedicated fan base over the years.
