Sons of Funk is an American R&B group that was formed in Richmond, California in the mid-1990s. The group consists of members Rico Anderson, Billy Bell, Melvin Adams, and D'wayne Wiggins. They are best known for their hit single "Pushin' Inside You" which was released in 1998 and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The song was featured on their debut album "The Game of Funk" released the same year.
Sons of Funk gained recognition for their smooth harmonies and soulful vocals, blending elements of R&B, funk, and hip-hop in their music. They have collaborated with artists such as Master P, Silkk the Shocker, and Mia X.
