Soul Brothers Six was an American soul group formed in Rochester, New York in the mid-1960s. The group consisted of six members: John Ellison, Charles Clark, Moses Armstrong, Clarence Armstrong, Harry Armstrong, and Sam Armstrong. They are best known for their hit single "Some Kind of Wonderful," which was released in 1967 and reached number 91 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song has since been covered by various artists and featured in several films and TV shows.


Despite their limited commercial success, Soul Brothers Six are remembered for their tight harmonies and energetic live performances. They continued to perform and record music throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s before disbanding. Their music has since gained a cult following among soul music enthusiasts and collectors.
