Artist Bio:
Sounds Of Sunshine was an American sunshine pop band formed in Los Angeles in the late 1960s. The group consisted of three female vocalists: Wendy Haas, Dolores Denny, and Marilyn "Jean" Hearn. They were originally signed to the RCA Victor label and released their self-titled debut album in 1971. The album featured their most well-known song, "Love Means (You Never Have to Say You're Sorry)," which reached #39 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Despite achieving some commercial success with their debut album, Sounds Of Sunshine disbanded shortly after its release. They left behind a legacy of upbeat and harmonious pop music that captured the essence of the sunshine pop genre popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Their music continues to be appreciated by fans of the genre and collectors of vintage pop records.
