Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes is a band formed in 1976 in New Jersey by Southside Johnny (born John Lyon) and a group of musicians from the Asbury Park music scene. They are best known for their energetic live performances and their association with the Jersey Shore sound.
Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes have released over a dozen studio albums, with their most successful being "Hearts of Stone" in 1978. Despite never achieving mainstream commercial success, the band has a dedicated fan base and continues to tour and record new music.
