Space is a British indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 1993. The band's lineup consists of Tommy Scott (vocals, guitar), Jamie Murphy (vocals, guitar), Phil Hartley (bass), and Allan Jones (drums). They gained popularity in the mid-1990s with their debut album "Spiders," which included hit singles such as "Female of the Species" and "Me and You Versus the World." "Female of the Species" reached number 14 on the UK Singles Chart and became one of their most well-known songs.
Space's music is characterized by their eclectic mix of alternative rock, punk, and electronic influences.
