Spacehog is a British rock band formed in 1994 in New York City. The band consists of members Royston Langdon on vocals and bass, Antony Langdon on guitar and vocals, Jonny Cragg on drums, and Richard Steel on guitar. Spacehog gained popularity in the mid-1990s with their hit single "In the Meantime" from their debut album "Resident Alien" released in 1995. The song reached the top of the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and received significant airplay on radio and MTV.
The band continued to release albums throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, with their most recent studio album "As It Is on Earth" released in 2013. Spacehog is known for their glam rock and alternative rock sound, drawing influences from bands like T. Rex and David Bowie. They have maintained a loyal fan base and continue to perform live shows and release new music.
