Spanky and Our Gang was an American 1960s folk-rock band led by Elaine "Spanky" McFarlane. The band's lineup consisted of five members, including Spanky McFarlane, Malcolm Hale, Oz Bach, Nigel Pickering, and John Seiter. Spanky and Our Gang achieved commercial success with their hit singles "Sunday Will Never Be the Same" and "Lazy Day," both of which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1967. The band was known for their unique blend of folk, pop, and rock music, as well as their tight vocal harmonies and energetic live performances. Spanky and Our Gang disbanded in 1970, but their music continues to be celebrated by fans of 1960s pop and folk-rock music.
