Spanky and Our Gang was an American 1960s folk-rock band led by Elaine "Spanky" McFarlane. The group was formed in 1966 in Chicago and became known for their catchy, upbeat songs with vocal harmonies. Their biggest hits include "Sunday Will Never Be the Same" and "Like to Get to Know You."


Spanky and Our Gang's music was a mix of folk, pop, and rock influences, and they gained popularity for their fun and lighthearted approach to music. The band's lineup consisted of various talented musicians, including Malcolm Hale, Lefty Baker, and Nigel Pickering. Despite their success, Spanky and Our Gang disbanded in 1969 due to internal conflicts. Their music continues to be celebrated for its unique sound and nostalgic appeal.
