Artist Bio:
Splender was an American alternative rock band formed in 1997 in New York City. The band was originally composed of lead vocalist Waymon Boone, guitarist Jonathan Svec, bassist James Cruz, and drummer Marc Slutsky. They gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their hit singles "I Think God Can Explain" and "Yeah, Whatever". Their music was characterized by melodic hooks, introspective lyrics, and a polished sound that blended elements of rock, pop, and alternative music.

Splender released two studio albums during their career: "Halfway Down the Sky" in 1999 and "To Whom It May Concern" in 2002. Despite their initial success, the band disbanded in 2004. After the breakup, lead vocalist Waymon Boone pursued a solo career, while other members went on to work on various musical projects.
