Artist Bio:
Stacy Lattisaw is an American R&B and gospel singer who rose to fame in the early 1980s. She was born on November 25, 1966, in Washington, D.C. Lattisaw signed her first record deal with Cotillion Records at the age of 12 and released her debut album, "Young and in Love," in 1980. Throughout the 1980s, she had several hits on the R&B and pop charts, including "Let Me Be Your Angel," "Love on a Two-Way Street," and "Miracles." Lattisaw collaborated with artists like Johnny Gill and was known for her soulful voice and upbeat, danceable music. In the late 1980s, she transitioned to gospel music and continued to record and perform in that genre.


In addition to her successful music career, Stacy Lattisaw also ventured into acting, appearing in the TV movie "Sister, Sister" and the sitcom "The New Mickey Mouse Club." She eventually retired from the music industry in the early 1990s to focus on her family and personal life.
