Staind is an American rock band that was formed in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1995. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Aaron Lewis, lead guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist Johnny April, and drummer Jon Wysocki. Staind gained popularity in the early 2000s with their hit singles "It's Been Awhile" and "Outside," which helped propel them to mainstream success.
Known for their heavy sound and emotionally charged lyrics, Staind has released seven studio albums to date, with their most successful being 2001's "Break the Cycle." The band has sold over 15 million records worldwide and has received several Grammy Award nominations. Staind went on hiatus in 2012 but reunited in 2019 and continues to perform and release music for their dedicated fan base.
