Artist Bio:
Staind is an American rock band formed in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1995. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Aaron Lewis, lead guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist Johnny April, and drummer Sal Giancarelli. Staind gained popularity in the early 2000s with their blend of alternative metal and post-grunge music.


The band released several successful albums, including "Dysfunction" (1999), "Break the Cycle" (2001), and "14 Shades of Grey" (2003). Their breakthrough single "It's Been Awhile" from the album "Break the Cycle" reached the top of the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Staind is known for their emotional and introspective lyrics, often addressing themes of pain, addiction, and personal struggles. Over the years, the band has sold over 15 million records worldwide and continues to tour and release new music.
