Artist Bio:
Stampeders are a Canadian rock band formed in Calgary, Alberta in 1964. The original members were Rich Dodson, Ronnie King, and Kim Berly. The band is best known for their hit single "Sweet City Woman," which reached number one on the Canadian Singles Chart and number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1971. Their music is a fusion of rock, pop, and country elements, and they have released a number of albums throughout their career.


In addition to "Sweet City Woman," Stampeders had several other successful singles in the 1970s, including "Devil You," "Wild Eyes," and "Carry Me." They have received multiple Juno Award nominations and have been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Stampeders continue to perform and tour, delighting audiences with their energetic live shows and timeless hits.
