Artist Bio:
Stampeders are a Canadian rock band formed in Calgary, Alberta, in 1964. The original lineup consisted of Rich Dodson, Ronnie King, and Kim Berly. The band is best known for their hit single "Sweet City Woman," which reached the top of the Canadian charts and peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States in 1971.


Over the years, Stampeders released a number of successful albums and singles, earning several Juno Award nominations and winning a Juno Award for Group of the Year in 1972. They were also inducted into the Western Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2018. Stampeders have continued to perform and tour, showcasing their distinctive blend of rock, pop, and country music to audiences across Canada and beyond.
