Despite their success with "Afternoon Delight," they were unable to replicate the same level of commercial success with their subsequent releases. Starland Vocal Band disbanded in 1981. Despite their relatively short-lived career, they left a lasting impact on the music industry with their unique vocal harmonies and catchy pop sound.
