Artist Bio:
Stealers Wheel was a British folk rock band formed in 1972 by songwriters Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty. The band achieved commercial success with their self-titled debut album released in 1972, featuring their hit single "Stuck in the Middle with You," which reached the top 10 on the charts in both the UK and the US. The song gained further popularity after being featured in Quentin Tarantino's film "Reservoir Dogs" in 1992.
Despite their initial success, Stealers Wheel faced internal conflicts and lineup changes, leading to their eventual disbandment in 1975. Egan and Rafferty both pursued solo careers following the breakup of the band. Although Stealers Wheel's time together was relatively short-lived, their music continues to be remembered and appreciated by fans of folk rock and classic rock genres.
