Artist Bio:
Steely Dan is an American rock band founded in 1972 by core members Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Known for their sophisticated jazz-influenced rock sound, the band achieved critical and commercial success in the 1970s with hits like "Do It Again," "Reelin' in the Years," and "Rikki Don't Lose That Number." Their music is characterized by complex harmonies, intricate arrangements, and cryptic lyrics.

Steely Dan released seven studio albums between 1972 and 1980 before taking a hiatus, during which Becker and Fagen pursued solo projects. They reunited in the 1990s and continued to tour and release new music, winning multiple Grammy Awards for albums like "Two Against Nature" and "Everything Must Go." Steely Dan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, solidifying their legacy as one of the most innovative and influential bands in rock history.
