Artist Bio:
Steely Dan is an American rock band formed in 1972 by core members Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Known for their distinctive blend of jazz, rock, and pop influences, the band achieved critical and commercial success throughout the 1970s. They are renowned for their meticulous production style, sophisticated lyrics, and complex harmonies.

Steely Dan's most popular albums include "Can't Buy a Thrill" (1972), "Aja" (1977), and "Gaucho" (1980). The band received critical acclaim, winning multiple Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for "Two Against Nature" in 2001. Despite their success, Steely Dan disbanded in 1981 but reunited in the 1990s to tour and release new music. Walter Becker passed away in 2017, but Donald Fagen continues to perform under the Steely Dan name with a rotating cast of musicians.
