Artist Bio:
Steely Dan is an American rock band founded by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen in 1972. Known for their distinctive blend of jazz, rock, and pop, the band achieved critical and commercial success with their complex, sophisticated music and cryptic lyrics. They released a series of highly acclaimed albums in the 1970s, including "Can't Buy a Thrill" (1972), "Pretzel Logic" (1974), and "Aja" (1977), which is often considered their masterpiece.

Steely Dan disbanded in 1981 but reunited in the early 1990s to tour and record new music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Despite the death of Walter Becker in 2017, Donald Fagen continues to tour under the Steely Dan name with a rotating lineup of musicians, keeping the band's music alive for new generations of fans.
