Artist Bio:
Steely Dan is an American rock band formed in 1972 by core members Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Known for their distinctive blend of jazz, rock, and pop influences, the band's music is characterized by complex arrangements, sophisticated lyrics, and meticulous production. They achieved commercial success with hits like "Do It Again," "Reelin' in the Years," and "Rikki Don't Lose That Number."

Steely Dan released seven studio albums between 1972 and 1980, including the critically acclaimed "Aja" and "Gaucho." The band disbanded in 1981 but reunited in the 1990s for a series of tours and new recordings. Steely Dan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Walter Becker passed away in 2017, but Donald Fagen continues to perform under the Steely Dan name with a rotating cast of musicians.
