Stephen Bishop is an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the 1970s. He was born on November 14, 1951, in San Diego, California. Bishop is known for his soft rock and pop music, with hits such as "On and On," "Save It for a Rainy Day," and "It Might Be You."


Bishop has released several albums throughout his career, including his self-titled debut album in 1977, which featured the hit song "On and On." He has also written songs for other artists, such as "Separate Lives," which was a duet with Phil Collins and Marilyn Martin and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Bishop continues to perform and record music, showcasing his talent as a singer-songwriter in the music industry.
