In the 1980s, Winwood launched a successful solo career, releasing hit songs like "Higher Love" and "Back in the High Life Again." He has also collaborated with other notable musicians, including Eric Clapton and Jim Capaldi. Throughout his career, Winwood has been recognized with multiple Grammy Awards and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Traffic.
