Woods achieved commercial success with his single "Steal the Night," which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1983. He also contributed music to various soundtracks, including the film "The Last American Virgin." Woods continued to perform and record music throughout the 1980s and 1990s, but his popularity waned in later years. Tragically, he passed away on January 28, 2014, at the age of 62.
