Artist Bio:
Sting, born Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner on October 2, 1951, is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He rose to fame as the lead vocalist and bassist for the rock band The Police, known for hits such as "Roxanne," "Every Breath You Take," and "Message in a Bottle." After the band disbanded in the mid-1980s, Sting embarked on a successful solo career, releasing albums that showcased his eclectic musical style blending rock, pop, jazz, and world music influences.


Sting has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including 17 Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, a Golden Globe, and an Emmy. In addition to his music career, Sting is also known for his activism and philanthropy, particularly in the realms of human rights and environmental conservation. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Police in 2003 and has continued to tour and release new music to this day.
