Stone Sour is an American rock band formed in Des Moines, Iowa in 1992. The band was founded by Corey Taylor, also known as the lead vocalist of Slipknot, and guitarist Jim Root. The current lineup consists of Corey Taylor (lead vocals), Josh Rand (guitar), Roy Mayorga (drums), Johny Chow (bass), and Christian Martucci (guitar). Stone Sour's music is characterized by a blend of hard rock, heavy metal, and alternative metal elements.
Stone Sour has released several successful albums, including their self-titled debut album in 2002, which featured hit singles like "Bother" and "Get Inside." The band achieved mainstream success with their third album, "Come What(ever) May," which included popular tracks such as "Through Glass" and "Sillyworld."
