Artist Bio:
Stonewall Jackson was an American country music singer and musician born on November 6, 1932, in Tabor City, North Carolina. He achieved success during the 1950s and 1960s with his honky-tonk style of country music. Jackson signed with Columbia Records in 1956 and released his debut album, "Stonewall Jackson's Greatest Hits," in 1959, which included his hit song "Waterloo."


Throughout his career, Stonewall Jackson recorded a total of 36 albums and had 50 charted singles on the Billboard country charts. Some of his other popular songs include "Don't Be Angry," "B.J. the D.J.," and "A Wound Time Can't Erase." He was known for his distinctive voice and traditional country sound. Stonewall Jackson was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1956 and remained an active member until his passing on March 20, 2021, at the age of 89.
