Stoney & Meatloaf was a musical duo consisting of singer Meat Loaf and his then-wife Leslie Aday, who performed under the stage name Stoney. The duo released one album together in 1971 titled "Stoney & Meatloaf," which was produced by Meat Loaf's future collaborator, Jim Steinman. The album featured a mix of rock, pop, and country influences, showcasing the vocal talents of both artists.
Despite the potential shown in their debut album, Stoney & Meatloaf did not achieve commercial success, and the duo eventually parted ways. Meat Loaf went on to have a successful solo career, releasing iconic albums such as "Bat Out of Hell," while Stoney (Leslie Aday) pursued other interests outside of the music industry. Stoney & Meatloaf remains a lesser-known project in Meat Loaf's extensive musical career.
