Artist Bio:
Sublime was an American band formed in Long Beach, California in 1988. The band's lineup consisted of Bradley Nowell on vocals and guitar, Eric Wilson on bass, and Bud Gaugh on drums. They were known for their unique blend of punk rock, reggae, ska, and hip hop music.
Sublime gained mainstream success with their self-titled album released in 1996, which featured hits like "What I Got" and "Santeria." Tragically, lead singer Bradley Nowell passed away from a heroin overdose in 1996, just two months before the album's release. Despite Nowell's death, Sublime's music continued to resonate with fans, and the band achieved posthumous success with their music becoming influential in the ska punk and reggae rock genres.
