Survivor is an American rock band formed in Chicago in 1978. The band achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with their hit songs "Eye of the Tiger" and "Burning Heart". "Eye of the Tiger" was the theme song for the movie Rocky III and became a huge commercial success, reaching the top of the charts in many countries. The band's music is characterized by their anthemic sound and powerful vocals, often featuring themes of perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles.


Survivor has released a total of nine studio albums, with their most recent being released in 2006.
