Artist Bio:
Survivor is an American rock band formed in Chicago in 1978. The band achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with a series of hit singles, including "Eye of the Tiger," which was the theme song for the movie "Rocky III" and became their most well-known song. Survivor was known for their arena rock sound and power ballads, and they released several successful albums throughout the 1980s.

Survivor went through multiple lineup changes over the years, with founding member Jim Peterik being the only constant member. The band continued to tour and release music into the 2000s, with their most recent album, "Reach," being released in 2006. Despite the changes in the lineup, Survivor's music has continued to resonate with audiences, and they are considered one of the iconic bands of the 1980s rock music scene.
