Susanna Hoffs is an American singer, songwriter, and actress, best known as a founding member and the lead vocalist of the all-female pop rock band The Bangles. Born on January 17, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, Hoffs formed The Bangles in the early 1980s with Debbi Peterson, Vicki Peterson, and Annette Zilinskas. The band quickly gained popularity with hits like "Manic Monday" and "Walk Like an Egyptian".
Hoffs also pursued a solo career, releasing several albums such as "When You're a Boy" and "Someday". In addition to her music career, she has appeared in films and television shows, including "The Allnighter" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".
