Artist Bio:
Sutherland Brothers And Quiver were a British folk-rock band formed in 1971 by brothers Gavin and Iain Sutherland. The duo originally started as a folk act before adding a backing band, Quiver, in 1972. The band's music often featured intricate vocal harmonies and a blend of folk, rock, and pop elements.
One of their most notable hits was "Arms of Mary," which reached the top 5 in the UK charts in 1976. The band released several albums throughout the 1970s, including "Lifeboat" and "Reach for the Sky." Despite achieving some commercial success, the band ultimately disbanded in 1979. The Sutherland Brothers continued to pursue music separately after the split, with Gavin releasing solo albums and Iain working as a songwriter and producer.
