Artist Bio:
Sweet Sensation was a female pop trio from the UK that achieved success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group was formed in 1986 and consisted of lead vocalist Marcelle Rose, along with sisters Lea Rose and Carol McKenzie. They were signed to the record label Pye Records and released their debut single "Take It While It's Hot" in 1988, which reached number 30 on the UK Singles Chart. Their follow-up single, "Sincerely Yours", became their biggest hit, reaching number 4 on the UK Singles Chart in 1989.
Sweet Sensation released their debut album "Love Child" in 1990, which included their hit singles as well as other tracks. The group continued to release music throughout the early 1990s, but their popularity waned, and they eventually disbanded. Despite their relatively short-lived success, Sweet Sensation remains a notable example of British pop music from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
