SWV, which stands for Sisters With Voices, is an American R&B vocal trio formed in 1988 in New York City. The group consists of three members: Cheryl "Coko" Gamble, Tamara "Taj" Johnson, and Leanne "Lelee" Lyons. They gained popularity in the 1990s with hits such as "Weak," "Right Here," and "I'm So Into You." SWV's debut album, "It's About Time," was released in 1992 and was a commercial success, reaching double platinum status.
