Artist Bio:
SWV, which stands for Sisters With Voices, is an American R&B vocal trio formed in New York City in 1990. The group consists of members Cheryl "Coko" Gamble, Tamara "Taj" Johnson, and Leanne "Lelee" Lyons. SWV achieved great success in the 1990s with hits like "Weak," "Right Here/Human Nature," and "I'm So Into You." Their music is known for its soulful harmonies, powerful vocals, and catchy melodies, which helped them become one of the most popular R&B groups of the era.

SWV released their debut album, "It's About Time," in 1992, which went double platinum and spawned several hit singles. They continued to release successful albums throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, including "New Beginning" and "Release Some Tension." In addition to their music career, SWV has also appeared on reality TV shows such as "SWV Reunited," which documented their comeback and reformation as a group.
