Artist Bio:
System Of A Down is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Glendale, California. The band consists of members Serj Tankian (vocals, keyboards), Daron Malakian (guitar, vocals), Shavo Odadjian (bass), and John Dolmayan (drums). Known for their unique blend of heavy metal, alternative rock, and nu-metal, System Of A Down gained widespread popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits like "Chop Suey!" and "Toxicity."


The band has released five studio albums, with their 2001 album "Toxicity" being their most successful, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart. System Of A Down is also known for their socially and politically charged lyrics, addressing topics such as war, genocide, and government corruption. They have won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for their song "B.Y.O.B." in 2006 and have maintained a dedicated fan base around the world.
