Artist Bio:
T. Rex was a British rock band formed in 1967 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Marc Bolan. The band achieved significant commercial success in the 1970s, becoming one of the most prominent acts in the glam rock genre. T. Rex's music was characterized by Bolan's distinctive vocals and psychedelic rock sound, often featuring catchy hooks and glam-influenced guitar riffs.

The band's most famous album, "Electric Warrior," released in 1971, included hits like "Bang a Gong (Get It On)" and solidified T. Rex's reputation as a leading force in the glam rock movement. Bolan's charismatic persona and glam rock image also contributed to the band's popularity. Tragically, Marc Bolan died in a car accident in 1977, marking the end of T. Rex's success, but their influence on the rock music scene, particularly in the 1970s, remains significant.
