Kweli gained recognition in the late 1990s as one half of the duo Black Star, alongside rapper Mos Def. Their collaborative album, "Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star," is considered a classic in the underground hip-hop scene.
As a solo artist, Talib Kweli has released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Quality" (2002), "The Beautiful Struggle" (2004), and "Prisoner of Conscious" (2013).
