Artist Bio:
Talk Talk was an English rock band formed in 1981 by Mark Hollis, Lee Harris, and Paul Webb. The band achieved commercial success in the 1980s and early 1990s with their synth-pop sound before transitioning to a more experimental and atmospheric style. Their 1988 album "Spirit of Eden" and 1991 album "Laughing Stock" are often cited as pioneering works in the post-rock genre for their unconventional approach to song structure and use of ambient textures.
Talk Talk disbanded in 1992, with Mark Hollis pursuing a solo career until his retirement from the music industry in 1998. Despite their relatively short career, Talk Talk's influence can be heard in the work of artists across various genres, and their musical legacy continues to be celebrated by fans and critics alike.
