Artist Bio:
Talk Talk was an English rock band formed in 1981 in London. The band consisted of Mark Hollis (vocals, guitar, piano), Lee Harris (drums), and Paul Webb (bass). Initially categorized as a synth-pop group, Talk Talk transitioned to a more experimental and atmospheric sound in their later albums which incorporated elements of post-rock and art rock. Their music often featured unconventional song structures, intricate instrumentation, and introspective lyrics.

Talk Talk achieved commercial success with their early synth-pop hits such as "It's My Life" and "Such a Shame." However, they are best known for their critically acclaimed later albums, particularly "Spirit of Eden" and "Laughing Stock," which are considered influential in the development of post-rock music. The band disbanded in 1991, with Mark Hollis pursuing a brief solo career before retiring from the music industry. Despite their relatively short career, Talk Talk's innovative approach to music has left a lasting impact on alternative and experimental rock.
