Artist Bio:
Talking Heads was an American rock band formed in 1975 in New York City. The band consisted of David Byrne (vocals, guitar), Tina Weymouth (bass), Chris Frantz (drums), and Jerry Harrison (keyboards, guitar). Known for their innovative and eclectic sound, Talking Heads were pioneers of new wave and post-punk music. They achieved commercial success with hits like "Psycho Killer," "Burning Down the House," and "Once in a Lifetime."


The band released a total of eight studio albums between 1977 and 1988, with their most critically acclaimed work being the albums "Remain in Light" (1980) and "Speaking in Tongues" (1983). Talking Heads were known for their intellectual lyrics, quirky rhythms, and innovative use of technology in their music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002, cementing their legacy as one of the most influential and groundbreaking bands of the 20th century.
