Tamar Braxton is an American singer, actress, and television personality born on March 17, 1977, in Severn, Maryland. She initially gained fame in the 1990s as a founding member of the R&B group The Braxtons, alongside her sisters. In 2000, she released her debut self-titled album, which received critical acclaim and spawned the hit singles "Get None" and "If You Don't Wanna Love Me."


Braxton later ventured into reality television, starring in the WE tv series "Braxton Family Values" alongside her famous family. In 2013, she released her second studio album, "Love and War," which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. Braxton is also known for her appearances on various reality shows like "Dancing with the Stars" and "Celebrity Big Brother."
