Artist Bio:
Tavares is a R&B, funk, and soul music group formed in 1973 in Providence, Rhode Island. The group consists of five brothers: Ralph, Pooch, Chubby, Butch, and Tiny Tavares. They gained popularity in the 1970s with hits like "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel" and "More Than a Woman." The group's smooth harmonies and catchy melodies helped them achieve success on the music charts, with several of their singles reaching the top 10.

Tavares continued to release music throughout the 1980s, although their commercial success waned. Despite this, they have remained active in the music industry, performing at various events and participating in nostalgia tours. Their music has had a lasting impact on the R&B and disco genres, and they are considered pioneers in the industry for their contributions to the sound of the 1970s.
