Tavares is a R&B, funk, and soul music group formed in 1964 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The group consists of five brothers: Ralph, Pooch, Chubby, Butch, and Tiny Tavares. They gained popularity in the 1970s with hits such as "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel," "More Than a Woman," and "It Only Takes a Minute." Tavares' music is often characterized by their harmonious vocals, catchy melodies, and groovy rhythms.


Throughout their career, Tavares has released several albums and singles, earning them a Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
