Artist Bio:
Tavares is a R&B, funk, and soul music group formed in 1963 in Providence, Rhode Island. The band consists of five brothers: Ralph, Pooch, Chubby, Butch, and Tiny Tavares. They gained popularity in the 1970s with hits such as "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel," "It Only Takes a Minute," and "More Than a Woman."


Tavares achieved commercial success with a string of top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and also had success on the R&B and disco charts. They were known for their smooth harmonies and polished performances. Tavares continues to perform and record music, remaining active in the music industry for over five decades.
